Research - Mid Point


David sent me a link to this great piece of animation the other day. Logorama is a subtle critique of corporations and was made entirely using brands and logo trademarks as characters and scenarios. The villain of the story is Ronald McDonald who sprays machine gun fire and takes hostages. It's an insightful satire of western culture and highlights some important issues surrounding consumerism and power of branding. 
(Watch how the Michelin man goes to fast food store to buy small salad and water but comes out with big mac and large coke!)

I like the style of fast hand movement in an animation. A good example is a recent campaign by Bill Gates Foundation on Polio vaccine.
